HIGH RIVER PERFORMING ARTS FOUNDATION
High River is about to enter a whole new colorful dimension with The Little Red Ball Company! The Venue & High River Performing Arts Foundation hosts the vibrant, high-flying outdoor circus! This live circus show activates downtown High River and brings life to the town's core.
Performing across twenty-three countries and a combined twenty years, the LRBC artists include Ariel Bartsch, Jason Melnychuk and Kate Ryan. The Aerial Acrobat, Ariel holds true to her name. Dazzling audiences with breathtaking feats of strength, grace and artistry while performing captivating maneuvers in mid-air. Alberta based entertainer JasonCircus has delighted countless audiences with his outrageous balance stunts, stunning juggling choreography, and delightfully entertaining stage persona. And last but not least, Kate Ryan, combining physical comedy, skilled circus disciplines, and witty humor, Kate takes the audience on a wild ride of laughter and amusement through a variety of acts including circus hoops, juggling, acrobatics and clown. This one-of-a-kind show promises to leave everyone with a smile on their face and memories that will last a lifetime.

Come one, come all, from June 22–25, 2023 for the Alberta Circus Arts Festival, hosted by Firefly Theatre and Circus. Join us for four days of Canadian contemporary circus performances, along with free activities for everyone. There are professional development workshops for emerging and established artists, panels and discussions on sector development for industry professionals, and outreach opportunities for all. Local audiences will be treated to world-class Canadian contemporary circus on an intimate scale, showcasing performers from across the country. From cutting-edge performances to true-life inspirational stories, and dancing, flying chaos, we have it all. Plus free stilt walking and juggling workshops for everyone. Join us in the heart of YEG’s francophone community at La Cité for the ACAF!
